Kristin English, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Hi, I’m Kristin! I am a hygienist at Efird Family Dental. I started my career as a hygienist in 2010 with my uncle, Dr. (Steve) Efird, and will end it (in MANY years) with my sister, Dr. (Leah) Efird! It’s a family affair!
I am proud to call Malvern my hometown. I graduated from MHS in 2006 and obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I absolutely love being able to provide exceptional dental care to my local friends and family and meeting new faces of Malvern and surrounding areas and making new connections! It’s important to me to get to know my patients to make sure each visit is custom to their needs and expectations, from tailored oral health education to comfortable, proficient patient treatment.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my sweet husband, Reggie, our precious kids, Karis and Quade, and our families! I also love shopping, trips to the beach, and live music!
Melissa Harper, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Hi! I’m Melissa! I’m one of the hygienists at Efird Family Dental. I don’t remember a specific moment where I knew I wanted to be a dental hygienist, but I did keep most of my baby teeth, the sticker that I got on my first trip to the dentist and I even kept all my brackets from having braces. I guess you could say I have always been drawn to teeth! This career was my destiny!
I grew up in Malvern and am a 1996 graduate of Malvern High School. I graduated from the dental hygiene program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2000.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two boys and husband. It’s hard being the only girl in the house, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. We love spending our time outdoors. I keep my bags packed and I’m always ready for an adventure!
Sydney Hathcock, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Hello! I’m Sydney, a dedicated dental hygienist at Efird Family Dental! I earned my bachelor of science in dental hygiene from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2015, and I am proud to be part of a team that is committed to providing top-notch care to our patients. I focus on helping my patients maintain good oral health through personalized care and education, making sure they feel comfortable during every visit.
I am originally from Malvern, but I now live in Bismarck with my husband, Seth, and our three beautiful daughters- Ellie, Reese, and Jordy. We are a busy family, often found coaching, playing, or cheering from the sidelines at softball games or on the basketball court. When I am not working or at a game, I love spending time on the lake with my friends and family. I’m also a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, so you can often find me cheering them on during football season!
Angelia Bailey
Office Manager
Hi, I’m Angelia! I’m happy to call Efird Family Dental my new “home”. I’ve worked in dentistry since 2011 and look forward to many more years here doing what I love. My favorite things about dentistry are building relationships with patients, seeing patient’s smiles, getting to work with girls that I get to call my friends, and the hours aren’t too shabby either.
I grew up in Benton, (Haskell) and graduated high school from Harmony Grove in 2006. I went on to college, then went to dental assisting school. My sweet husband, Kyle is from Malvern and we have been married since 2009. We have horses and cats that we refer to as our children. When I’m not at work, I enjoy travelling all over with Kyle… we love to go and see new places. Adventures are what we love best!! I love all sports, especially baseball and football. And I love all things to do with the Razorbacks!!

I've been a dental assistant for 10 years and truly enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. I live in Prattsville with my husband of almost 12 years, Cody; our son, Preston; and my sister, Lexi, who is currently in college. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my family. We share our home with our 3 dogs and several outside cats that keep showing up. I’m usually busy keeping everyone fed, alive and out of trouble.. Which absolutely counts as a hobby.
Raechel Melanson
Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator
Hi, I’m Raechel! I work at the front desk as the Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator. Although I’m new to the dental field, I’m learning and growing every day! I’m loving the opportunity to meet new faces, build connections with our patients, and spend each day with some amazing women that I get to call my coworkers and friends!
I’m a 2020 graduate of Malvern High School and went on to attend Henderson State University to obtain a degree in Business Administration.
I’m originally from Malvern, but I now live in Prattsville with my husband, Sean, and our two dogs, Penny and Bagel. Outside of work, I enjoy being at home, serving at my church, cooking, and spending time with the people I love.

I have been in dental assisting for five years now and love helping patients feel comfortable while keeping smiles healthy.
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying outdoors, watching sports, or spending time with my fur babies.
I was born and raised in Glen Rose and graduated from Ouachita High School. I acquired my Associate of Arts from College of the Ouachita’s, (ASU Three Rivers) and my dental assisting from Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy.
